This time, O'Connor is called in to locate a woman lost in the Boundary Waters - the Quetico-Superior Wilderness, two million acres of primeval forest, white-water rapids, and uncharted islands on the Canadian/Minnesota border. He accompanies the woman's father, a pair of FBI agents, and an Indian child. But they're not the only ones hunting her. Others are on her trail as well, men hired not just to find her, but to kill her.
