A woman's body is found in marshland outside LA, not long dead. In the latest Alex Delaware book by Jonathan Kellerman, several dead women are found in marshland near LA, and it seems there is a serial killer at work in the area. The corpses are facing east, and all have had one hand removed. As a chilling aside, a hopeful Ebay seller finds a wooden box containing hand bones in a batch of junk he buys at auction, hoping for something worth Ebaying in the lot... But is all as it seems?
