Dizzy helps make a lovely smooth cement foundation for a new shed and just manages to deter Pilchard from chasing some mice through it. Bob leaves her to guard it while it dries, and a bird drives a hard bargain with her when she tries to prevent it landing on the wet cement and messing up all her good work.
Eventually Spud, who has been making a mess of mixing paint with Wendy, and Dizzy, who is not all that good at being a scarecrow decide, are swapped over by Bob and Wendy. All goes well until Spud gets mice up his jumper.
