Spud is fed up being a scarecrow - he wants a different job. So he decides to become a builder just like Bob. With Lofty, whom he persuades to be his builder's mate, and Bob's toolbox, he sets about fixing things. But Bob is worried that Spud will hurt himself and sets out to find him before he does any damage.
