Nashville is not quite boy, not quite bird, and not quite certain where he fits in.
He doesn't feel as if he belongs with his family, in his town, or even in this world. Hatched from an egg found on the sidewalk, Nashville has grown into a boy with feathers for hair and a beak for a mouth. Despite the support of his family, he wishes more than anything that he could join his fellow birds up in the sky. The trouble is: He hasn't grown wings, which must surely make his dream impossible.
So what will Nashville do to make his dream take flight?
