What is it really like to live as an undercover cop? This is the story of two young people, Robbie and Jess*, who joined the NSW Police Force believing they could make a difference. Their whole life became a lie. To all but their parents they became drug traffickers. Old friendships were lost, colleagues turned their backs on them. With only each other for support, it was no surprise that Robbie and Jess became lovers. By early 2000, Robbie and Jess knew they were falling apart; they could no longer endure the pressure, the danger, the terrible isolation from their families. But getting out was far harder than getting in. *Not their real names.
