THUS BEGINS BOOK ONE OF THE BELGARIAD
Untitled
A classic coming of age tale wrapped in magic and action. This series follows Belegarion as he discovers he's far more important than he ever imagined. An unwilling subject of The Prophecy (which happens to be self aware) He's sent of on a quest to recover a magic sword (of course) and slay a god. (wait what?) A funny and absorbing read Eddings puts all the cliches of fantasy into one series and makes it work! A great read for younger readers moving up to adult works or someone after a nice light read. - Caitlyn (QBD)
