Over the course of his life, Julian Lennon, the eldest son of John Lennon, has built a unique collection of Beatles memorabilia, including gold discs, film cells, drafted lyrics for an unpublished song, photographs, guitars, clothing, jewellery, postcards, and much more. Now, for the first time, his collection appears in print and Julian, working closely with well-known music author Brian Southall, gives his insight into many of the pieces and explains what they mean to him and the family memories they invoke. The book starts with an introduction by Julian and then more than 100 items of memorabilia are displayed in order. Each piece features a description or explanation and, where relevant, the background story and Julian’s comments.
