Joey has a new baby brother. At first Joey nervously declines his family's invitations to change the baby's diaper or rock the baby to sleep. Then, Joey begins talking baby talk with the baby and they establish a special relationship with a language all their own. Soon, Joey is taking the lead in playing peek-a-boo, reading to the baby, accompanying the baby to the playground, and picking him up. In a short, simple text by Fred Hiatt and expressive full-color pictures by Mark Graham, the growing relationship between an older child and his new baby sibling is treated with warmth and much good humor.
