Uniforms, Organisation and Equipment The Austrian Army was the most significant opponent of Fredrick the Great during the Seven Years War. This completely revised volume of the highly acclaimed 'Austrian Seven Years War Infantry and Engineers' has been enhanced with an additional 445 mainly contemporary uniform illustrations, equipment details, maps and drawn flags. The regiments have now been organised by province rather than by using the 1769 regimental number. This volume gives the inhaber, (colonel-in-chief), commander, a short campaign hisotry and the uniform changes for the German, Hungarian, Jager and Grenz Infantry Regiments plus the Freikorps and Engineers (1740-63). The 320 uniform illustrations have been dated to 1757 (Wrede/Brauer), 1760 (Donath) and 1762 (Albertini, Bautzener, eRapse). The uniforms and equipment chapters have 230 uniform details, equipment and weapons plus 58 illustrations from the Austrain 1749 Drill book. Austrian flags of the War of Austrian Succession were still in use and these are covered in detail. In addition there are 13 maps, 28 tables and 17 orders of battle. This is the companion volume to the 'Austrian Seven Years War Cavalry and Artillery. Colour illustrations
