A Field Guide
Waterbirds hold a special fascination for birdwatchers. They are the only group of birds which are easy to find, being always near the water. This book gives a brief account of the natural history for 88 species of waterbird which can be seen in the inland of Australia.
There is a coloured photograph of each of these species with keys around each plate to enable quick identification. Useful advice is also given on where to find waterbirds, together with an explanation of the problems of conservation.
