Animal Haven is a temporary home for all sorts of Australian wildlife, although there are a few permanent residents as well, like Oscar the owl, Fur Bag the possum, Cinnamon the koala and Alice the labrador. Meg and Mike live there, too, and they work so hard to help their parents rescue and look after the animals that the locals at Jeff's Creek have nicknamed them the Aussie Angels.
One mouse plus one mouse usually equals twenty mice in a very short time in most households. This isn't the case, however, when the rare marsupial mouse population is being threatened by feral cats and uncaring humans. The Aussie Angels face quite a challenge if they're to help save the marsupial mouse from extinction, but that little Aussie devil Mark has his own ideas about increasing the number of mice at Animal Haven.
