Art in the Office
offers a representative overview of the ING Group's art collection, which was put together by five international curators. Works from Belgium, Mexico, Poland, England and the Netherlands are reviewed at length in this first publication on the collection. Typical of the "ING collection" is that all the artworks can be found in the spaces where the staff actually work. Photographer Marijn Scheeres photographed various works 'in situ' and these form the book's guiding principle, while the accompanying text offers specific information on the artistic policy of the ING Group. Work by, among others, Frida Kahlo, Carel Weight, Pierre Alechinsky, Ricard Deacon, Wilhelm Sasnal and Barend Blankert can all be found in this lavishly illustrated edition.
