Animals always come first for Mandy Hope, and at Animal Ark - her parents' busy veterinary surgery - Mandy is always making new friends.
Mandy and James are finding it difficult to spare enough time to give Camomile - a mare whose owner has gone to America - all the attention and exercise she needs. They are hopeful when they meet Rhian, who lives next to Camomile's field, that she will help them out. However, for her own reasons, Rhian doesn't want to get to know the mare. Can Mandy and James persuade their new friend to care for Camomile before she has to be sold?
