The adventures of Adam Slade, the bastard son of the Earl of Glenlyon who readers were introduced to in 'Gather the Stars' continue in 'Angel's Fall'.
Adam's search for his pregnant sister, Christianne, who'd been discarded by the man she'd been mistress to, brings him to London and a home for "fallen angels" - all in the same predicament as Christianne. Once at Angel's Haven, Adam finds himself drawn to the beautiful proprietress, Juliet Grafton-Moore, the generous young English woman who'd started the home with her inheritance. Adam tries to ward off the growing attraction between them since he believes no true lady will ever accept a bastard for a husband, but when Juliet's life is threatened he can no longer deny the passion between them.
