Ally has a lot on her plate. First of all, it's enough to get by, living in a madhouse. She loves her family but her sister, Linn, the eldest, is so bossy and her two brothers aren't much help. Then there's school and the worry of a forgotten history project not to mention the obnoxious new girl.
