Through the eyes of the Korean photographer, Bae Bien-U, this catalogue discovers the beauty of two 'soul gardens': The Alhambra and Generalife and the Secret Garden of Changdeokgung. Bae Bien-U's photographs reflect the sublime beauty of both locations: they capture the magnificent dialogue between nature and architecture as well as the solemn atmosphere of these places of soul. Bringing together the photographs Bae Bien-U took at the Alhambra and Generalife complex with the photographs taken at the Changdeokgung Royal Garden in Seoul invites contemplation about connections between the Eastern and the Mediterranean soul.
