Albert needs to find the pumpkins pilfered from Miss Patsy's Pleasant Valley Pumpkin Patch on Halloween eve. Miss Maple, Shamrock Homes, and Sam Slade help the Albert, the duck detective, find mysterious notes that lead to clues. The final clue puts all the other clues together, and the detectives are able to find the missing pumpkins, while Albert deduces that it was Miss Patsy's game all along.
