For the first time, Hercule Poirot – ‘probably the greatest detective in the world' – is celebrated in the official Agatha Christie Calendar, comprising 14 brand new cover designs from the best-selling books and (as it's a leap year) 366 little grey cells in which to write your daily appointments!
Hercule Poirot made his debut in Agatha Christie's very first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, serialised in The Times in 1920. With appearances in 33 novels and more than 50 short stories, plus stage plays, comic strips, interactive games and multiple TV and film adaptations stretching back neatly a century, the little Belgian detective with the egg-shaped head finally makes his wall calendar debut in the official 2024 Agatha Christie Calendar from HarperCollins Publishers.
To coincide with brand new cover designs for all 39 Hercule Poirot paperbacks, the new calendar is a showcase for some of the most attractive new artworks, featuring some of Agatha Christie's most evocative titles: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, The ABC Murders, Death in the Clouds, Murder on the Orient Express, Death on the Nile, Evil Under the Sun, Hallowe'en Party, Hercule Poirot's Christmas… Glorious renditions of these stories and more can adorn your favourite wall and help to celebrate the never-ending charm of ‘the greatest detective in the world'.
