In 'Absolutely Crackers' Crackers Keenan has carried out a series of interviews with well-known people in his inimitable style. The ground shared by each interviewee (not to mention the interviewer) is the larrikin individualism which, although part of Australian folklore, is alive and well today. Crackers is well connected with sport characters from racing to football and a number of these appear. Other subjects include: Antarctic explorers, gangsters, a judge, shearers, wine makers, Vietnam vets, horse breakers, shooters, farmers, labourers . . . all walks of life.
