Mark Waugh on Tour With the Australian Cricket Team
During the last 12 months the Australian Cricket Team has travelled to some exotic locations to play cricket that was sometimes outstanding, sometimes ordinary, sometimes successful and sometimes catastrophic. Over the year they were away from home for 312 days out of 365. They were beaten by Sri Lanka in the World Cup final, spun out on a trap in New Delhi and wiped out at The Oval chasing a pittance against England.
In between they clocked up about 80,000 Frequent Flyer miles, produced some phenomenal results and won all three Test series against some impressive sides. They beat the West Indies, South Africa, and England in Test matches, making this a fine year's work. In 'A Year to Remember', Mark Waugh takes us back on tour and tells it like it was.
