A startling request in this day of hands-off administration, open classrooms, and the everybody's-a-victim mentality, the administration, led by a courageous superintendent, decided to take students up on it. What followed was a series of innovative courses that not only infused the ethically rudderless students with a welcomed set of guidelines, but gave them a sense of pride in who they are and what they could achieve.
