A critical discography of the piano music of Franz Schubert. My aim in the discography is to guide the listener's journey by pointing out, or recommending, key versions in the music's recorded history. There can be no claim to comprehensiveness, rather a personal selection. I start with a section on the complete (or near complete) recordings of the sonatas, then go on to examining records of the individual sonatas.
