In this volume, readers will find an accessible introduction to the discipline and findings of New Testament theology. The author first describes the historical, literary, theological, and canonical dimensions of the discipline of New Testament theology in ontechnical language so that a wider audience can understand the discipline. He then summarizes the diverse theologies of the New Testament as found in the Synoptic, Johannine, and Pauline traditions, as well as in the Catholic Epistles and the Book of Revelation. A third chapter discusses the unifying theological themes of the New Testament that point to the unity of New Testament theology. And the final chapter relates the discipline of New Testament theology to the pastoral life of the Church.
