Illustrated by Pete Pascoe
This is the second book in the fabulous adventures of Pete the Purple Flying Pig.
Pete the Purple Flying Pig is back in a brand-new adventure when he meets a lovely cat called Kitty from Kathmandu. They become great friends -- they lunch in Paris, they visit Le Louvre; they see many wonderful things together. Pete tells Kitty that he'll teach her to fly so they can fly around the world together. But no matter how hard they try... Kitty is not able to fly! Feeling very sad, they separate and go home. Kitty's eyes are filled with tears as she imagines what it would have been like to fly around the world with her friend.
Suddenly there is a loud knock on her door. Pete has learned that having a friend is more important than flying around the world. "I don't give two oinks if you can't fly" said Pete, "I like you just the way you are Kitty from Kathmandu!"
