Christopher's mother is too busy with her new triplets to find time to play with him. Sometimes Christopher feels so lonely he wants to scream and scream and SCREAM. He doesn't know it, but his neighbour, Molly MacNamara, is also feeling so lonely she could scream and scream and SCREAM. One Monday morning, she does just that and Christopher comes running to her rescue. They soon discover all they want is a bit of company and develop a friendship.
