When Dagmar Delacroix Chatsworth and her entourage finally checked out of Hillside Manor, Judith McMonigle Flynn breathed a sigh of relief. Both the pushy gossip columnist and her yappy lapdog Rover had left Judith's nerves - and her best bed linens - in tatters. In desperate need of some off-season R & R, the harried B & B hostess joins cousin Renie at Canada's famous Bugler Ski Resort - only to discover with horror that the swanky getaway is the next stop on Dagmar's itinerary! And wherever she goes, her malicious mutt goes too.
But there are other guests, apparently, who have even bigger bones to pick with the detestable dirt-disher - and there's a melee at the chalet when someone resorts to murder. When one of Dagmar's lackies checks out permanently on the resort's snowless slopes, Judith has no reservations about going after a killer . . . before more of Dagmar's posse discovers too late that the rumourmonger's company is even more poisonous than her pen.
