The fabulous statue, the Golden Dachshund, has been stolen. The exiled King and Queen of Stanislavia had lent it to a museum in New York. Everyone leaps to the conclusion that it has been stolen by the dictator of Stanislavia. But Tim was at the party to unveil it, and he is the only one who really knows who the thieves are! So instead of flying home as planned, he slips out of the airport, and searches for them. The chase soon escalates, and he finds himself cycling frantically through the streets of New York after a hot dog van with only he courageous little dog for back-up!
