To everyone who knows him, West Ashby has always been that guy: the cocky, popular, too-handsome-for-his-own-good football god. But on the inside he's grief-stricken - his father is dying and he hasn't told anyone because he can't face the truth.
Now, as his pain grows unbearable, West finally decides he needs to talk to someone about his dad. So in the dark shadows of a party, he tells the one girl who doesn't speak everything he can't tell anyone else. West expected to feel relief, a flood of emotions - but what he didn't expect was for Maggie Carleton to reply. For her to reveal a pain even deeper than his own. And, for them to form a connection so strong that he couldn't ever let her go.

Add to Cart Untitled This is a heart wrenching story of first love. You will definitely need tissues. A great start to a new series by Abbi Glines. Although known for adult contemporary romance, Abbi does not dissapoint. I would definitely reccomend to fans of Abbi Glines and young adult readers. - Antonia (QBD) Guest , 18/06/2017
A great young adult story This book was a sad yet beautiful story of love, loss and friendship. The main characters, West and Maggie's, connection was instant and unconventional. West was a playboy high school football player that hid his pain from everyone at school until he found the one person he was able to be himself around. Maggie is quiet wallflower that attempts to go unnoticed so that she doesn't have to reveal her past to anyone, In this story, West and Maggie come together and form an unbreakable bond they discover together.
In addition to West and Maggie, Until Friday Night has a charming cast of characters. This extends from West's group of friends, to his parents, to the mean girl at school- all uniquely entertaining. Both characters and the story line make this book very interesting and hard to put down. Overall, this was a great young adult story and I am excited for this series to continue. - Brianna, QBD Online QBD , 01/02/2016
