When 14-year-old Dante and his friends find a suitcase full of cocaine, they face an excruciating decision: whether to sell what they've found, or destroy it. Selling the coke would provide enough money for the operation Dante needs to heal his heart, but would also add to the crack epidemic which caused his birth defect and continues to shackle their community. Set among the rough streets of a modern Babylon in Oakland, California, this is ultimately a story about family, friendship, love and of desperate inner city kids looking for choices in a world that offers them none.
